We are a strong, progressive, and growing junior football club.

We aim to become the most attractive club in the District
for players and their families, known for our focus on
player development, community and high quality resources.

Welcome

West Coast Junior Football Club is a long-established, well-run, financially sound, and ambitious organisation. We take player development seriously, but not at the expense of sporting behaviour, citizenship, or our other obligations as a community-based Club. We want both players and parents to feel comfortable in and proud of their association with our Club.
 

Why play for West Coast?

  • Our home is at the picturesque City Beach Oval, with high quality playing and club room facilities.
  • We provide coaching by senior players for teams in Year 8 to 12, ensuring that we use current training techniques and provide up-to-date advice about developments in football. Regardless of year group, our coaches will always be appropriately qualified.
  • Our home ground is lit to standards adequate for WAFL football, allowing us to play night games that provide our players a taste of night footy, and their families a great evening out.
  • From 2016, we will equip our players with Club kit so that they can wear our colours with pride, whether they are headed to the footy or the shops.
  • We keep our team equipment and jumpers to a very high standard.
  • We are developing our social media presence, making it easier to stay up with scores and Club news.
  • Subject to player numbers, we aim to field teams in all years, providing an opportunity for players to remain with one club all the way from pre-primary to Year 12.
  • We are fortunate to have a friendly and close-knit band of parents and volunteers, providing a happy atmosphere for all involved.
  • At WCJFC we take pride in developing the football skills of our young players. We also aim to produce players with determination, resilience , sportsmanship and integrity – skills for life.

2018 Registration

 

2018 registration for football is now open, and registration for Auskick in 2018 will become available here soon.

Register for Australian Rules Football       Register for Auskick - Pre Primary, Year 1, Year 2

A list of showing the current registration status for each year group can be seen by clicking here.

Registrations will be accepted from January 2018 and close on 16 March 2018. Registrations after this date will be considered but a place cannot be guaranteed.

Australian Rules Football (Years 3-12)

Incentive to Register Early

Claremont District requires teams to be submitted by 19 March 2018. To assist the club with formulating teams and coaches by this date we are seeking to have registrations finalised by 28 February 2018. For those who register by that time, fees will be the same as for 2016 & 2017. Registrations received after 28 February 2018 will increase by $50.

Existing West Coast Australian Rules Football Players (not Auskick)

Players who played with the Club in 2017 or have registered with West Coast previously should have received an email directing them to the registration page. Alternatively, follow the link Register for Australian Rules Football to register and pay.

New Australian Football Players

New players to Junior Football, including 2017 Year 2 West Coast Auskickers, follow the link Register for Australian Rules Football to register and pay. The Auskick and Australian Rules databases are not linked so your child’s details will need to be entered as a NEW MEMBER. When initially registering with your email, you may see your child’s name on the left - do not select this option, you must register as a NEW MEMBER.

Played Australian Rues Football AND from another Club

If you have played Australian Rules Football AND from another Club contact the West Coast Registrar will facilitate a transfer.  

Australian Rules Registration Fees

Juniors Yr. 3 $150 per player $200 per player

Auskick (Pre-primary to Year 2)

Auskick Registration Fees

PP to Yr2 $150 per player

Included in the registration for each player will be Club Branded Merchandise & Auskick Pack.

Payment

Credit cards and Direct Debit are accepted. The club pays to SportsTG an administration fee from your child’s registration for the use of their system. Credit Card is 3.9% and Direct Debit is 2.7%. As such we would encourage payment by direct debit so as much of your child’s registration remains with the club.
